Chinese food court booth inside International Village.
Parking is available in the lot under the mall. Apparently it's not really free anymore which sucks.
They have some Hong Kong and Taiwanese type stuff too, but they're probably best known for the rice and side dishes combo. Like most other places, the more side dishes, the better the deal.
Staff were friendly.
The side items are hit and miss. The tofu and Sichuan chicken were both good, but the sweet and sour pork was a bit strange. Not sure why the meat looked like giant jelly beans. They tasted average but I couldn't get over the peculiar shapes.
Decent amount of food for the price, though personally I would rather eat next door at the Indonesian or Thai places, or Caveman downstairs. -

Quick dinner one night in Vancouver, when we didn't feel like wandering very far from our condo. I had the fried rice with black bean sauce chicken, and it was actually pretty good for a Mall food court. My wife had the noodles with vegetables, and like that as well. The rating drops a little for the spring rolls, which we couldn't even finish. They had an odd taste to them. Stick to the rice.

Very bland flavor a d some lemon chicken tasted funny. Cutlery option is only folk. I hope there was another Chinese competitor restaurant here.

International Village mall has probably my favourite food court of all malls with the best selection and variety of places to hit! This time, I wanted something light, quick and fresh so I opted for the $5.25 wonton soup from Giant Panda. The wontons were popped into the broth made to order so they wouldn't be saugy and the broth was tasty and delicious. I was super happy with the price as well. Huge bonus of a food court vs sitting in a restaurant. Most wonton soups are double the price. They gave about 10 wontons in a single serving, and that was a small. Oftentimes wonton, at sit down restaurants are so watered down, bland or lack flavour, but not this one! This was great. I haven't tried the other food here just yet, but will have to make a trip back to test I out!

I was in a hurry, and decided to grab a quick and cheap Chinese lunch. Better than I expected. I got a 3 item combo with half rice half noodle. Green beans were very good. Fish wasn't bad, but it didn't need the coating, it was too salty and fish was quite thin, so I guess the coating is for bulk. Sweet and sour was ok too. Generous portions.
